Every year in May, the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) awards dairy producers trophies based on merit and the best products in the industry. Picnic Foods was proud and honoured to receive awards for our Sahara yoghurt and kefir. In 2022, in Melbourne, we took home four new awards based on excellent tasting fermented yoghurts. It was an honour to receive with thousands of other competitors.

Our kefir and yoghurt keep making comebacks at the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) awards. 2021 we brought 4 awards back home from Melbourne, Australia, thanks to the judges. Our kefir and yoghurt were awarded for best organic choices in the entire Australian dairy industry–that’s huge! And, we took home the gold. We’re so honoured to be chosen for the 2021 Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) awards. Hard work and passion pay off.

We receive more awards than ever in 2020 at the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) awards in Melbourne that May. On one of the biggest dairy award nights in the world, we were proud and delighted to receive recognition for what we do day in and day out. Some of our awards included our delicious yoghurt and kefir, as well as our dairy drinks and cheeses including the Lassi and Paneer. Not to mention, our non-dairy product but still just an exciting award for Most Successful Exhibitor. We’re so pleased to bring you the high-quality award-winning product that’s recognized by the world.

It’s the second year at the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) awards in Melbourne. We’re excited and so honoured to be a guest here. We receive over 7 awards for our dairy products. Including Sahara Organic Bush Honey Kefir (DIAA Gold), Sahara Organic Blueberry Kefir (DIAA Gold), Sahara Organic Natural Kefir (DIAA Gold), Sahara Organic Bush Honey Yoghurt (DIAA Silver), Sahara Organic Pure Natural Yoghurt (DIAA Silver), Sahara Organic Bush Honey Kefir (DIAA Silver). All these awards are fancy and sure they’re gold and silver–but they get to the heart of why we do what we do–-for the love of it. We love making customers and businesses happy. And our products do just that. We’ll continue to make quality dairy products for years to come. This is just the beginning.

We remember it like it was yesterday. It was our first time at the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) awards in Melbourne. We were considered among the top dairy producers and manufacturers in the world. The suspense was high, our gratitude through the roof. We were so grateful to just be there. To receive a silver medal for one of our best-selling products, Sahara Pure Natural Yoghurt, was gratifying and blissful. It was an honour to be a part of the awards and we hoped to return. Which we did.
